Lazzaroni Amaretto Cherries

Worlds away from the bright red maraschino cherries served in bars, these soft, dark red beauties elevate cocktails, cakes and sundaes. The wild Amarena cherries are harvested by hand in the Apulia region of Italy, then soaked in a syrup that balances their natural tartness with the sweetness of Amaretto liqueur. Each whole, pitted cherry has a tantalizing sweet-tart flavour with delicate notes of almond.
